Here we are again sharing Yahuah’s/God’s miracles and monthly expenses for CFY from 1 January 2025 to 31 January 2025.
SHALOM FAMILY IN RWANDA
Currently with 160 children (5 to 24 years old) and leader Joseph (since 2018).
CFY: 7 years in a nutshell

Shalom Family since 2018!
After Agape Family was founded in 2017, Shalom Family followed in 2018. This Family is led by leader Joseph and currently consists of 160 ex-orphans/former street children.
5 to 7 years old: 10 boys and 20 girls
8 to 12 years old: 17 boys
8 to 14 years old: 23 girls
13 to 17 years old: 65 boys
15 to 18 years old: 15 girls
18 to 22 years old: 5 boys
19 to 24 years old: 5 boys
Purchase of sweet potatoes!
Everything within CFY happens under guidance of the Holy Spirit of Yahuah/God, as is also clearly shown in the examples given in the video above. Johan hears the Holy Spirit speak. On 23.12 he received a go from the Holy Spirit to send a gift to Shalom Family. This gift enabled them to buy sweet potatoes, for eating as well as for sowing.
Since Shalom Family still had to prepare the grounds for sowing, the sweet potatoes were not bought until 06.01. They bought 200 kg for sowing and 300 kg for eating at home. By 06.01 the price had been raised to 700 rwf per kg, but they gave Shalom Family the old price of 500 rwf! HalleluYah! Praise our Heavenly Father Yahuah for that blessing!
Take into account that in Shalom Family the children have been eating only every other day for over a year. As you can see below, the children only eat on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. And when they do eat, they only eat about a fifth of a sweet potato. How much do you give your children?
Days of food per week for everyone in Shalom Family. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday the children eat and that’s about a fifth of a sweet potato… Praise our Heavenly Father for all the strength He provides them with! What a miracle!
In Shalom Family all children assist with the sowing process. We don’t have footage (yet) of the children working with the sweet potatoes. However we do have footage of them working with beans, which is what they used to eat before switching to the, more nutritious, sweet potatoes (see below). Within this project, Johan’s wife Naomi is helping the sick heal by eating according to Genesis 1:29 (link to the Facebook group at the bottom of this update).

Thieves at Shalom Family!
In the night of 06.01, while the children were sleeping, Joseph was attacked by thieves at the house. The criminals were able to do so since there are no lights on the terrain of Shalom Family. The children live in the dark. They wanted to steal their sewing machine, food and sweet potatoes.
4 men hit leader Joseph on his back with sticks. As far as he could determine, he first was hit by 1 and later by 3 men! Whilst Joseph was on the ground and being hit, he yelled at the children. As soon as they woke up and came, the men ran away and the theft was prevented! HalleluYah! Both the food for the children and the sewing machine were safe! Our Heavenly Father is always with the children and fights for them!
After being hit, Joseph was in a lot of pain and walking was difficult for him. Later on Johan prayed for Joseph and on 09.01 about 80% of the pain was gone and he was able to walk normally again. HalleluYah!
Hmm isn’t it strange that the children were kept safe by our Heavenly Father and that Joseph suffered so much? When we are disobedient to Yahuah certain blessings stay away. And as a loving Father he can chastise us to teach us obedience. For only when we want to do His will, we will be accepted into heaven (Matt. 7:21). Eternity is what matters most, not this life on earth. He loves us so much that He will do whatever is necessary to get us with Him forever.
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven (Matt. 7:21 [New King James Version]).”
It might seem harsh that Joseph was hit by men with sticks and that he could barely walk. However, in July 2024 disobedience had led to 3,600 kg of a 4,000 kg sweet potatoes harvest to be rotten… Eventually all members of Shalom Family went on their knees, asked for forgiveness, repented and blessings came back. Perhaps you can imagine that the consequences can be greater if you are disobedient again. Being hit by sticks and being in so much pain that you can barely walk is an example. We are grateful to know that our Heavenly Father Yahuah never gives us more than we can handle (1 Cor 10:13). And as we said before: it’s an act of love so we learn our lessons.
Yahuah/God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it (1 Cor 10:13 [New King James Version]).
Lesson in obedience
We shared the above so we can all learn a lesson from it. What about us? Are we disobedient to our Heavenly Father?
If you don’t know what He asks of you, take a look (again) at James 1:27.
Pure and undefiled religion before Yahuah/God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world (James 1:27 [New King James Version]).
Yahuah’s heart is with the orphans, widows, poor and oppressed and it’s our job to care for them. What better way to do this than by joining CFY? Everyone is welcome to help the children: either by praying, sharing our information, providing your gifts and/or talents, providing supplies/transport for our container campaigns and/or donating. Think or pray about what you can do for the children! If you have questions or want to have a conversation, you are very welcome to contact us!
Sewing machine
In our December updates we already reported about Shalom Family’s sewing machine. They use it for repairing and making clothes for the children.
Can you imagine having only one sewing machine for 160 ex-orphans? The children now walk in rags. How different are (our) lives in the West, right? Most of us are so blessed with clothes, shops and money to buy new clothes…
Did you know we are blessed to be a blessing to others? And Yahuah is so good that He blesses anyone who blesses the children (spiritually, physically, emotionally, financially and materially). So what are you waiting for?
“Yahuah/God, bless me, so I can be a blessing for others.” Johan, founder of the Calling From Yahuah Netherlands Foundation, prayed this prayer for years.
Food for Shalom Family!
On 30.01 Shalom Family received a gift, so they could buy food! All prices had been raised and turned out to be:
- Rice: 1,500 rwf per kg
- Sweet potatoes: 1,200 rwf per kg
- Beans: 1,000 rwf per kg
- Irish potatoes: 900 rwf per kg
After prayer, the Holy Spirit guided the spending of the 250,000 rwf (almost €170) as follows: 50% Irish potatoes for eating and 50% sweet potatoes for sowing.
On 03.02 the gift was spent and guess what? Our Heavenly Father Yahuah showed His mercy and kindness by lowering the price of the sweet potatoes from 1,200 to 1,000 rwf! How good is He! As long as we are willing to be obedient!
Did you know that the Father’s will is always good? We might think the things He asks us to do are not nice, but when looking back, we can always see it was for our own good. So just do what He wants.
Prayer points
Wow, what an update with so many lessons! How we are blessed to be a blessing, the importance of obedience and the assignments our Heavenly Father Yahuah gives His children! Praise Him for His forgiveness and kindness in reducing Joseph’s pain and providing the children with food at a lower price. Also, let’s not forget that He gives them the strength to all participate in the sowing process and that He kept them safe and prevented the thieves from taking food and the sewing machine! All Glory and Praise for Him!

- Everything necessary so we can reach our mission of saving 150,000,000 orphans and street children, whom Yahuah appoints, worldwide!

MAN goes Norway and Medical Medium lifestyle
Each project is part of CFY. Therefore supporting one of them leads to supporting CFY and thus providing the ex-orphans with better lives. And who doesn’t want that!? So feel free and take a look!
MAN goes Norway – a mission vehicle is built in the form of a MAN camper. It will be used to gain more attention for the 3,208 ex-orphans within CFY and all the orphans and street children that are still to come.
Medical Medium lifestyle – Naomi’s ministry in which she is helping the sick heal through healthy eating according to Genesis 1:29. This way Yahuah initially intended it to be. Besides the website, there is also a Medical Medium lifestyle Facebook group with 8,000+ members. It’s possible to receive guidance.
