For this reason we have this video available in both English and Dutch (see below). Take your pick! We are also planning on making a Norwegian version for our Norwegian friends. Warnings from the government
On 03.03 Shalom Family had gotten warnings from the government due to the lack of light. In December the Family had refused to take an electricity meter (with unacceptable conditions attached), so the lighting system was shut down by the government.
Johan, founder of the Calling From Yahuah Foundation, has received many dreams and visions over the last years. He read Yahuah’s Word and also received other confirmations, such as specific teachings. Through all this, he learned a lot about the times we have ahead and they are not pretty. Did you know that an antichrist system is being built, which is based on lies and draconian obligations? The people building it hate Yahuah and are against Yeshua/Jesus, Who is the Christ and the Savior of the world. These people want to trick you into joining them. They are planning to destroy the economy, destroy real estate, control the way you eat and drink and so much more. An example of such a trick is the construction of concentration camps disguised as 15-minute cities. They pretend like everything is nice and close by, but in reality it’s a prison. It’s called Agenda 2030. Soon there won’t be internet anymore either, so be prepared. After refusal of the electricity meter Shalom Family would no longer be able to use regular electricity. The government and the village leaders spoke bad words to and about Shalom Family because of the lack of light. They have done this before for other reasons.
Two weeks’ time
On 06.03 the government and village leaders came back and gave Shalom Family 2 weeks’ time to come up with a solution for the lack of the lighting. Johan and Joseph had tried to buy multiple things, such as candles and flashlights, but none of them had been available. Only expensive solar panels were an option, but we didn’t have the funds to purchase them. Isn’t it strange how cheap options were unavailable? Is that another sign of the upcoming system?
They prayed a lot for wisdom, but hadn’t gotten a solution from our Heavenly Father yet. Johan hears the Holy Spirit of Yahuah speak and, as stated above, the Holy Spirit can also give other confirmations as to what to do. But if nothing comes up, we know nothing. Within CFY everything happens under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. If divine information is lacking, we don’t act and just wait.
This means all 160 ex-orphans are still in the dark. Can you imagine being a child living in an unfinished building, having to sleep on a concrete floor, sharing a blanket with 9 other kids and also having to live in the dark?
Chat with Emmanuel
On 12.03 Johan had a conversation with Emmanuel over WhatsApp Messenger. Emmanuel comes from the streets, as well as the other 159 ex-orphans within Shalom Family. He has lived with the family since the beginning in 2018 and is Joseph’s right hand. Before this conversation, the last contact between Johan and Emmanuel was on 17.11.2024. During our daily CFY prayer nights we had prayed for communication between Johan and Emmanuel, since the Holy Spirit had urged Johan to talk to the boy. Praise our Heavenly Father Yahuah for this miracle and answer to our prayers!
Emmanuel shared how it was going well. Joseph had been teaching him English and Johan reported how Emmanuel’s English was getting better. HalleluYah!
Soldiers in Shalom Family!
In the night of 14.03 about 20 to 30 soldiers and village leaders came to Shalom Family around 11PM/12AM. What?! They wanted to close Shalom Family due to the lack of lights. Wow… so you’re running an orphanage with 160 ex-orphans from 5 to 24 years old and SOLDIERS are sent to close it?!
Where would the children go? We know how they are an easy target for horrible networks when they are out on the streets. Think of child trafficking, sex trafficking, organ trade, child labour and so on. CFY is here to keep and get 150,000,000 children out of those situations, as you can also read on our new GoFundMe page (click here to go to our new GoFundMe page).
Joseph stepped up and told the soldiers to take him instead of closing Shalom Family. Wow, would you give yourself in order to save the children?
A huge miracle happened, since they took Joseph to prison and kept the family open! HalleluYah! We thank our Heavenly Father Yahuah for this miracle and Joseph for giving his life!
What must this have been like for the children? Imagine being a 5 year old having lived on the streets, finally being safe within Shalom Family and then your leader gets sent to prison in the middle of the night…
Sweet potato harvest
Even after this difficult night, the ex-orphans kept on working. On 15.03 they harvested 310 kg of sweet potatoes, HalleluYah! Thank You Father for this beautiful harvest and all the strength you gave Your children! After all they only eat on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays or even less often…
124 kg (2/5) was sown back into the ground for new harvests and 186 kg (3/5) was saved for eating.

We are getting more and more grateful for the ministry of Johan’s wife Naomi: CFY’s project Medical Medium lifestyle (medicalmediumlifestyle.com – project further outlined at the bottom of this update). She has a calling in helping the sick heal by eating according to Genesis 1:29. This is the way Yahuah intended us to eat from the very beginning. This ministry led us to know potatoes are not only more nutritious than rice and beans, but also anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal! No wonder the Shalom Family children switched to eating potatoes! Even though they only eat so little, at least they are getting power food into their bodies! Praise our Heavenly Father Yahuah!
This is not only important physically, for example think of all the bad oils that are used in making fried chicken in restaurants, but also spiritually. As stated in Acts 15 we should not eat food polluted by idols, blood or strangled meats. KFC recently released a commercial where people worshiped a chicken with the slogan “believe in chicken” and many more mockeries towards our Lord and Savior Yeshua. Also think of all the places serving so-called voodoo chicken. Voodoo means spirit or god and when that name is attached to food, an (evil) spirit gets assigned to it and enters into the one consuming the food. Perhaps even more shocking information is that parts of aborted babies are put inside common foods to make us cannibals… What?! Yes, it’s true. And by eating this way Yahuah can no longer accept us. Isn’t that absolutely horrific in so many ways? At CFY we are pro-life. We know that whenever abortion is performed, no matter at what stage, children are literally TORN APART. Can you imagine the HORRIBLE PAIN they must have inside their mother’s wombs when they are murdered?
Romans 8:28-39
On 18.03 Johan again spoke with Emmanuel, who is now 22 years old. He is better at writing English than speaking it and reported to Johan how Joseph was taken to the police on 14.03. Johan told Emmanuel to read Romans 8:28-39 and that everything happens for a reason. After all, we know the Father’s will is always good! And even if an event initially wasn’t His Will, He always makes it work for good for those who love Him. Emmanuel shared how Joseph had given the children the very same Bible verses before he left! Wow! Since these are so important, shall we read them together?
Romans 8:28-39
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified (Rom. 8:28-30 [New International Version]).

More Than Conquerors
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:
“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Rom. 8:31-39 [New International Version]).
If God is for us, who can be against us (Rom. 8:31 [New International Version])?
Wow… doesn’t that give you strength? If not: read it again, and slowly, so the Holy Spirit can really work with you. Yes, also if you’re not a believer – after all, the Holy Spirit worked with all of us in our lives before we accepted Yeshua as our Lord and Savior!
Emmanuel also shared that the children now read the Bible together every night. They do this from the phone Joseph borrows from his neighbour. What a blessing! When they don’t have the phone, they only worship and pray. However, Joseph is planning to have the children memorise bible verses (see below). Emmanuel told Johan how he would like to have a Bible for studying.
Conversation between Johan and Emmanuel over WhatsApp Messenger on 18.03. After Emmanuel told Johan how the children and Joseph wanted to be together, Johan shared “not your will, but the Father’s will” and told him to read Romans 8:28-39. Emmanuel shared how these were the same verses Joseph had given them before he left. Johan told Emmanuel that Joseph was right. He also explained how he taught Joseph to be a leader and to trust in the King and Savior Yeshua/the Lord Jesus Christ for 100% and to trust Him only! Emmanuel shared how Johan had done a great job with Joseph and how he was teaching the children to be strong as well. Emmanuel’s faith was growing and Joseph was planning on teaching the children to learn Bible verses by heart. At the moment they were reading the Bible together every night, but whenever they would not have a phone they would only sing and pray.
Joseph in prison
When Joseph came to the police, he was thrown into prison. He was cold and had no bed or food… Wow… can you imagine being in a prison cell in those circumstances? However spiritually it was very good since 20 (!!!) people gave their lives to Yeshua whilst Joseph was in prison! HalleluYah!
If Joseph hadn’t given his all for Yeshua and the children, he would not have ended up in prison. Then the children would not have been saved, let alone those 20 souls!
Do you see how the Father worked all this together for good, just as He promised in Romans 8:28?
The sweet potato ground protected from flooding!
On 22.03 the family faced storm and heavy rain. This lasted for a couple of days after which many roads, grounds and even houses were destroyed by floods. 4 of the Shalom Family grounds had flooded as well… but:
The one piece of land on which the sweet potatoes were cultivated had NOT!!!
How is that possible? This is a huge miracle! Not just for Shalom Family, but for all other people in the area as well. All Glory and Praise to our Heavenly Father Yahuah! Only He can do this! He is Almighty and He loves the 160 ex-street children in Shalom Family. After all, they are His children!
Cold by African standards
Johan had asked for the definition of ‘cold’. For sometimes Joseph had shared that it was cold in Rwanda. Emmanuel reported that it’s cold for them when the temperature is between 18 and 20 degrees Celsius.
Prayer points
Wow, what an update! Truly a lesson in giving your all for our Lord and Savior Yeshua and trusting in Our Father’s will! We are so grateful for the protection of the children, but let’s not forget the sweet potato ground either! HalleluYah! All Glory and Praise for Him!

In case you are on fire for the children as well and want to do something for them, you are more than welcome! If you are a believer, be aware they are our brothers and sisters. For they all chose to follow Yeshua on the narrow road (Matt. 7:13-14). Also it’s our job to care for the orphans, widows, poor and oppressed (James. 1:27). Be aware that we all come before our Heavenly Father Yahuah and then have to give account of what we have done with our lives.
Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world (Jam. 1:27 [New King James Version]).
